Geo-Plus Ports VisionCivil and VisionPlus Software to Bricscad V10

Leading civil engineering and land surveying software for advanced design, calculation, and analysis now available to Bricscad users

Gent, Belgium and Laval, Canada, May XX, 2010 – Bricsys NV, the developer of Bricscad, and Geo-Plus, the leading geomatics software company, today announced the release of VisionCivil and VisionPlus software for Bricscad V10. Until now, VisionCivil and VisionPlus were available only for AutoCAD® and MicroStation®.

Geo-Plus provides a complete land surveying and civil engineering software solution for calculating and designing any type of civil engineering project. Its VisionCivil software constitutes an entire design solution that allows industry professionals to visualize terrain quickly in a variety of views: triangulation modes, producing profiles, cross section plans, capping, piping services and also it creates road designs, pads, alignments, templates and fast and accurate volume calculations.

Geo-Plus VisionPlus, designed by land surveyors for land surveyors, combines both COGO calculations and drawing functions in a friendly user interface. Geo-Plus VisionPlus resolves functionality, usability and process-related issues. It provides, among others, COGO functions, topology parcels manager, building siting and staking, points and connectivity manager, customizable metes and bounds capability and versatile least squares adjustments.

Geo-Plus has a wide range of customers in specific areas: civil engineering and land surveyors companies, construction firms, many government agencies including major cities such as Montreal and Ottawa.
